Join a room and use meeting controls

Create a meeting and manage audio, video and participants.

Before you start

Use a valid invitation or room ID. Real meetings need the appropriate browser-device permissions; the demo capture does not use your microphone or camera.

  1. Open the invitation, or enter it under Присоединиться and click Подключиться.
  2. Check your name and devices in prejoin. Wait for moderation if required.
  3. Use Микрофон, Камера and Экран for audio, video and screen sharing.
  4. Open Участники / Люди or Чат for people and messages.
  5. Review any recording-consent request and check the actual recording indicator.
  6. Click Выйти to leave. Review prejoin again when returning after reload.

Verify and recover

Ask another participant to confirm received media; button state alone is insufficient. Demo AI text is not a real meeting summary. Check devices/permissions, request a fresh expired invitation and report room ID and symptoms for media failures.

Short invitations and guest permissions

The organizer clicks Пригласить and shares the Короткая ссылка на конференцию with the intended participant. Open the complete link, including its #/j/… fragment: it grants access to one room. After entering a name, the guest sees Перед подключением and clicks Войти во встречу. A waiting room still requires separate organizer approval. Reloading preserves the invitation and returns to prejoin.

  1. Join meeting

An invitation does not grant access to the organization’s meeting list, platform status, other rooms, audit history or invitation administration. Sign in through IAM.Identity with the appropriate permissions for those actions. Integrations should expect 403 from /api/v1/conferences and /api/v1/platform/status in a guest session; do not override the organization in a request.

Revoked or expired invitations cannot create another guest session, and sessions already issued from them also lose access. Ask the organizer for a new link and open it again. Never publish the complete invitation in logs or support tickets.

Recording availability

Unauthenticated GET /api/edition returns the effective edition and available features. Check features.recording.enabled before offering recording in an integration. When disabled, recording APIs return 403 with feature_not_licensed; signing in again does not enable it. Ask your administrator about recording availability.
