Sign in through IAM.Identity and sign out safely

Use your organization account to sign in to Meet, check your session and sign out.

Before you start

You need an IAM.Identity account with Meet access in your organization. An administrator assigns your permissions and organization membership. Do not enter your password in the guest entry form.

What to click

  1. Open Meet and select Sign in with IAM.Identity.
  2. Enter your account details on the IAM.Identity page. If application access is requested, review the Meet application name and requested data before confirming.
  3. After returning to Meet, check Your meetings. Meetings from another organization must not appear in your list.
  4. To create a room, follow Create a meeting. Give guests an invitation to the specific meeting.
  5. When you finish on a shared computer, select Sign out in the account menu. If IAM.Identity requests confirmation, confirm the sign-out on its page and wait until you return to Meet. For your next session, use Sign in with IAM.Identity again.

Check the result

You returned to Meet, can see your meetings and can perform the actions granted to you. After signing out, the previous session can no longer access protected data. Signing out through IAM.Identity ends all Meet sessions for that account, including other browsers. Other users keep their own sessions.

If something goes wrong

If the return from sign-in shows an error, open Meet again and restart Sign in with IAM.Identity; do not refresh the old callback page. If the error repeats, give your administrator the application address, time and error text, without your password or the full callback URL. For an access denial, ask them to check your Meet permissions and organization membership.
